Director of Programmes, Policy & Partnerships
We are seeking maternity cover for six months for a Director of Programmes, Policy & Partnerships to drive increased impact through programmes and increase our fundraised income from 10% to 30% of total income. Building on our success in securing income from bi and multi-lateral funders, the Director will continue to build a case for support, as well as opportunities for a mixed portfolio of funders, including developing public private partnerships with existing and new corporate partners.
You will also be responsible for continuing to deliver greater producer impact by working closely with our international partners and colleagues in the UK, embedding the programmatic approach. As a key member of our Leadership Team, your strategic and operational oversight will help to shape the Foundation's organisational strategy.
You will have experience of developing growth strategies and translating these into operational plans. You will have a proven track record in developing partnerships and high quality propositions linked to our programmatic work.
You will also have a strong understanding of a broad range of income streams and the opportunities they create, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships internally and externally. As a natural leader you will enjoy leading, motivating and developing talented staff members across a range of teams (Supply Chain, Partnerships, Programmes, Policy Research & Monitoring Evaluation & Learning (MEL)), as well as acting as an ambassador for the Foundation's work. You will have exemplary interpersonal and communications skills. Most importantly, you will be passionate about bringing sustainable change to the lives of millions of farmers and workers across the South, enabling them through trade to enable them to maintain their livelihoods and reach their potential.
