About the role:

Cambridge Exams Publishing is a jointly owned educational publishing unit bringing together the expertise of Cambridge University Press and Cambridge English Language Assessment. We are looking to recruit a full-time Commissioning Editor on a 12 month fixed-term contract to work on our exam 'For Schools' materials.

In this role, you will be a key member of a busy editorial team working on exam preparation materials for students and teachers. You will be responsible for the commissioning, development and management of a number of components on your assigned project(s) and will be required to work with a number of authors and freelance suppliers. This role requires someone who can work proactively and autonomously and feel confident making decisions on a regular basis.

About you:

Significant experience of editing and managing print and digital ELT projects from first draft through to publication is essential. You will possess a range of strong behavioural traits, from outstanding attention to detail, to highly organised with excellent written and verbal communication skills.??? Knowledge of the Cambridge exams, as well as a recognised ELT qualification would be advantageous.
