Clifton Hospital is a specialist mental health service men with a personality disorder, who also present with complex mental health needs and challenging behaviours.

Job Role

We are currently seeking a motivated and passionate individuals to join a our Nursing team. Working with our patients, you will be encouraged to contribute to, and influence the development of active care. Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, you must be able to show initiative, demonstrating clear decision making and organisational skills.

Successful candidates will be responsible for:

The coordination, assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care for adult patients presenting with Mental illness and additional diagnosis in accordance with National Minimum Standards and company procedures. In addition, you will provide a homely and safe environment that meets the patients' needs, guidance and support in assisting the promotion of self-help, personal life skills and emotional awareness and act as a positive role model within the team. You must be able to demonstrate good clinical practice, carrying out observations, investigations and treatments as required.

Candidate Profile

Candidates should possess the relevant nursing qualification and have an active PIN we are accepting Newly Qualified. Individuals should have an excellent working knowledge of the Mental Health Act and be able to demonstrate the latest understanding of nursing practices. You should also be a strong team player, with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and organisational skills.
