Senior Pension Administrator: Our client is seeking a Senior Pension Administrator to fulfil a six month fixed term contract with the potential to extend. The successful Senior Pension Administrator should have experience processing benefit pension schemes/final salary processing and have the ability to competently check the team's work.

You must driven to follow processes/procedures and the be able to plan and prioritise your own tasks with working knowledge and experience of Pensions Administration and Pensions Legislation and Regulation.

  • Highly numerate and analytical
  • Calculate and pay out member benefits
  • Check benefit calculations performed by the team
  • Liaise with Team Managers on specific member cases
  • Point of technical reference for the team
  • Assist with delivery of scheme events with prep of materials and testing
  • Work with technical colleagues on changes to legislation, regulation or system affecting the scheme
  • Work within quality standards/agreed service levels
  • Follow processes and procedures
  • Leadership experience
  • Drive change and improvement in team/processes
  • Strong skills in Word and Excel
  • Familiar with BizFlow, SharePoint and Practice Engine

Requirements:

  • PMI qualification - desirable
  • At least two years experience working in pension admin - essential
  • Experience of checking administrators work - essential
  • Strong skills in Word and Excel
  • Familiar with BizFlow, SharePoint and Practice Engine

Package:

  • GBP23,000 - GBP28,000 depending upon experience
  • Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm
  • 20 days holiday + eight Public Holidays
  • Auto-enrol pension with contribution 1% after qualifying period
  • Fixed Term Contract for 6 months with possibility to extend
