Public Health Intelligence Manager x 3
As a Public Health Intelligence Manager you will provide analytic support to one of the Public Health teams, to enable effective and evidence-based public health information activity that underpins the operational and strategic development of the team and its performance in relation to one of the following public health programmes:
Healthy Environments and Communities
Healthy Children and Families
The post holder will report to a Public Health Consultant and provide input into the process of understanding health needs in the programme area, addressing health inequalities, determining priorities for action, assisting wider understanding of the characteristics of the local population and actively disseminating the findings of a wide range of analysis.
The key areas of responsibility for this post include the following:
- Insight and intelligence
- Strategic leadership, planning and partnership
- Commissioning and delivery
- Evaluation, innovation and research
- Developing public health skills and leadership
- Management of budgets and resources
You will need to hold a higher degree, and/or qualification, and significant experience related to health information to Master's level, and five or more years at a senior level in public health information.
