About the College
This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the major providers of education and training in Yorkshire and Humberside. We are one of the largest providers of A Level and vocational programmes for 16 to 19 year olds in the region.

About the Role
York College is seeking to appoint PTVH maths tutors to join the Foundation English and maths division. You will be a dedicated and motivated professional ready to contribute to the development of new strategies to improve the delivery and quality of maths teaching and learning for our 16-19 cohort.
You will be qualified up to at least Level 3 in maths and a relevant degree qualification (or equivalent) would be desirable. In addition, you must possess a recognised Level 5/6 teaching qualification (PGCE/CertEd) or display a willingness to work towards achieving this.
You will be an enthusiastic, flexible and innovative teacher with experience of delivering maths, preferably in a FE context. The ideal candidate will be have experience of teaching the new 9-1 maths specification and have taught GCSE maths to a wide range of students. Excellent administration and interpersonal skills together with a commitment to working effectively as part of a team are also essential in this role.
