The Trust is a new and innovative company delivering children's safeguarding and social care services within Slough. This is a private company, established solely for the purpose of improving Children's Services. The organisation works closely with central and local government to drive new and innovative approaches to solve increasingly complex challenges around children's support and services. We are looking for Social Workers to join our busy and growing teams. Working with Children, Young People and Families, the responsibilities of this role, are to provide high quality services to vulnerable children, you people and families, through assessment, care planning and delivery of other services.
Our aim is to provide high quality outcomes for children and young people and to drive new and innovative approaches to improving the outcomes by providing an accountable statutory social work service to children, young people/carers. These include using assessment, case planning and reviews, appropriate to the work for the team and service unit. All services are delivered in accordance with national standards and are continuously improving.
This role will see you working closely with children, young people and Families, reporting concerns, identifying risks, responding to care plans and moving children on in accordance with their needs in agreement with the Practice Manager/Head of Service. You will engage with senior Social workers as well as other agencies and services.
