OVERVIEW:

People Force International Ltd have the pleasure in supporting one of the UK's market leading publishing companies, in sourcing a Delegate and Membership Sales Executive to join their successful events team.

The Delegate and Membership Sales Executive will be responsible for attracting paying delegates to a range of high quality, research-driven conferences, round tables, awards and networking events.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Delegate and Membership Sales Executive will sell across a number of events and encourage group bookings, calling our extensive database of magazine readers, website users, past event attendees, as well as liaising with marketing colleagues to follow up their marketing efforts. The candidate will need to be competent in following up calls through written communication and will also need to source new data online and through social networking sites such as Linkedin. Also to pitch membership to key prospects on the database to help drive subscriptions for a particular publication.

This role would suit either an experienced sales professional looking for a desk based role or someone who is looking to start their career in sales. Candidates should be ambitious, target driven and self-motivated and able to sell across a portfolio of brand-enhancing B2B events.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• A minimum of 6 months experience of telephone based B2B sales.
• Interest in business
• Good telephone and written skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with senior executives
• Attention to detail
• Ability to build relationships.
