Due to our Company growth we are pleased to advertise a new position for an Accounts Manager. This pivotal role is based in our head office at Southport to lead and develop our accounts team and function.

What's the role?

We are looking to recruit an experienced candidate to be our Accounts Manager. The position will form an integral part of the Company's Senior Management Team to lead the Company's financial accounting, reporting and control activities, ensuring they are carried out efficiently, effectively and in line with best practice.

Duties will include but not limited to:

* Overseeing the preparation of all Company monthly management accounts and year end.
* Production of all government compliance documentation and accurate record keeping.
* Managing and developing the accounting team.
* Preparation of budgets and forecasts, including annual operational budgets.
* Overseeing the Health and Safety function within the business.
* Running the monthly payroll.
* Developing management reports and KPIs to drive profitability and commercial focus throughout the business.
* Improving controls and processes to ensure the business is running effectively and efficiently.
* Maintaining the integrity of accounting systems and finance report to meet regulations and making recommendations for improvements.
* Creating monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends, and financial forecasts.
* Close liaison with all departments in particular HR and developing strong relationships with key stakeholders.

The successful candidate will need to be an approachable, hands on and self-motivated individual that can work well within a fast paced environment. Flexibility and a can-do attitude is the key to success in this business.

What skills & experience we are looking for....

Either through work experience or education the candidate must demonstrate the following skills:

* Fully CIMA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with several years industry experience.
* Line management experience.
* Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process.
* Solid written and verbal communication skills.
* High attention to detail.
* Advanced Excel Skills.
* Finance Management experience.

Additional Info:

Salary up to GBP40,000 dependant on experience.

Occasional travelling may be required.
