Senior Support Worker - Barent
We are Barnet Residential services we Support seventeen adults who have a range of complex needs, including sensory loss and learning disabilities. We are looking for a reliable and motivated person to join us as a Senior Support Worker.
About the role
As our new Senior Support Worker, you will contribute to the development of Support Workers within the team as well as supporting our amazing individuals. This opportunity is offered on a full time basis, working 37.5 hours per week.
You will contribute to the day to day running of a responsive innovative and high quality service for people sensory impairments and complex needs. Special attention will be paid to the creation of a continuous learning environment that will seek to maximise the potential of each person we support.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of motivating others including carrying out supervision meetings. You will have experience of working with adults with disabilities, monitoring the care provided and identifying and resolving issues arising from the 'day to day' operation.
As the successful candidate, you will demonstrate willingness to participate in training and development. You will have the ability to communicate in a variety of different methods and be prepared to deal with challenging situations. You will also be expected to work on your own initiative and show patience and understanding.
