A rapidly expanding logistics Business are looking to attract an experienced HR Manager to complement the growing HR team. Regional role which will pay up to GBP40k plus car / car allowance and further benefits. Role based out of the Worcester site.

CIPD qualified and experience within unionised environments is essential.

About the Role

Reporting remotely to the HR Director, the Regional HR Manager will lead and support the people management agenda, change management projects and act as a point of contact for operational managers and colleagues for all HR matters.
The ideal candidate will be form a part of the HR leadership team and be a key contributor to the development of the people strategy. They will also be an active member of the operational leadership teams across numerous sites.

Role and Responsibilities

• Supporting senior management in all HR matters including absence, disciplinary and all other generalist requirements
• Engaging and visiting the sites within the regional remit including assisting with the engagement of employees in out-base depots
• Managing and leading the HR Advisor to ensure they are given relevant experience and development whilst ensuring regular 1-2-1 meetings are undertaken and training gaps identified
• Challenging the organisational structure of the business and proposes changes
• Assisting the recruitment of key talent and providing support with necessary succession planning
• Produce HR Management Information as agreed with the HR Director in areas such as recruitment, disciplinary, holiday and absence reporting
• Building a strong business relationship with key stakeholders
• Adhering to all relevant employment law and protecting the business from employment tribunal
• Continuously review and develop policy and procedure to ensure compliant with relevant legislation liaising with external parties such as solicitors and recruitment agencies
• Driving the people agenda to achieve the functions strategic goals
