Offering a superior service within Adults Residential Care nationwide, a warm welcome awaits you at CareTech. Due to continued growth, we are seeking caring, compassionate and committed Registered Mental Nurse to provide the support that allows our amazing Service Users to lead ordinary lives.

We are seeking to recruit a full time Registered Mental Nurse to join our idyllic hospital in Fareham, who share our vision for high quality Mental Health recovery services.

The hourly rate is GBP16.50ph and an annual loyalty bonus of GBP1,000 is issued at the end of each 2 years' service.

Key role and responsibilities;
• Act as a keyworker, assess, plan, implement and evaluate care planning & Risk assessment / risk management safety plans on a monthly basis with residents on admission and at appropriate intervals, providing support to residents with daily living, following support plans and working within the Recovery Model.
• Ensure all interventions are documented clearly and comprehensively
• Ensure the correct administering & documentation of medicines in accordance with the organisation policy, legal requirements and NMS standards for medicines management.
• To be responsible for upholding resident's rights under the Mental Health Act 1983 and ensure the requirements of the Mental Health Act 1983 are known, understood and adhered to.
• Ensuring Mental Health Act paperwork is scrutinised and regularly checked.

Previous experience working within a Mental Health setting is essential.

• Risks should be understood, but managed positively
• Service users have a right to live in a decent, safe, caring environment with support to engage in and with their local community
• Pathways to more independent living should be an integral part of support planning
