Specialist Practitioner - Mental Health
The Faculty of Inclusive Practice are seeking to appoint two experienced Mental Health Specialist Practitioners.
As the Mental Health Specialist Practitioner, you will be working within the Faculty of Inclusive Practice as part of the Mental Health Specialist Support Provision to provide high-quality individualised support to those individuals who have a diagnosed mental health condition. You will be working across the Weston College provision, which will include apprenticeships.
As a post-holder, you will be devising and implementing flexible and creative specialist intervention programmes for students on a one-to-one and small group basis.
You will also be developing intervention plans that incorporate psychoeducation, evidence-based psychological therapies, liaison with internal teaching staff, and multi-disciplinary working with external mental health teams.
This full-time post will be supporting Further Education students who are accessing a full- or part-time course at one of our three campuses, being a specialist point of contact for students who are experiencing a mental health condition (e.g., Anxiety, Depression, OCD, Personality Disorders, Eating Disorders, Psychosis, etc.).
