My Client, an expanding firm based in West Kent, are currently looking for an Audit and Accounts Manager to join their busy team in a key role. This will be integral to the firm and the role will include collaboration with all aspects of the business and all departments from the top to bottom.

This role offers a fantastic opportunity to join a growing firm with a diverse client base and take on a portfolio that can be designed to suit the individual but would consist of audit work, including charity and not-for-profit audits, OMBs accounts and tax, personal tax and assisting the partners with ad hoc advice and projects as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and Ltd companies
  • Completing tax computations
  • Training more junior staff members
  • Completing numerous audits - sign off audit sections, addressing any problems before passing it to manager review
  • Bank Account Management including: Main, deposit, pooled client accounts and dedicated client accounts.
  • Preparation of Internal Payroll
  • Administering payroll for external accounts
  • Quarterly management accounts
  • Annual Financial Accounts
  • VAT Returns


  • 3 years' experience in practice
  • Qualified Accountant either by exam (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) and by relevant experience
  • Excellent Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • A measured and diligent approach to work
  • Ability to multi task
