Product Sales Specialist - Scientific Instrumentation
A great opportunity for a Life Sciences graduate (BSc, MSc or PhD educated), preferably with experience in Neuroscience, Physiology or Microscopy, to move into a scientific commercial role in a global and well respected company with excellent career development opportunities!
This role is sales-focused, so previous experience working targets is strongly preferred. Full sales and product training is provided but drive and motivation to enter a scientific commercial role is essential.

CUSTOMERS: Academic and Pharmaceutical Laboratories
Office-based in East Sussex
Develop and close sales opportunities, selling the company's instrumentation across the academic and pharmaceutical market. Responsible for achieving the sales target via telephone, email and face to face communication.
Develop and manage a sales plan to ensure that sales targets are met or exceeded in the designated region.
Identify and develop new business opportunities to help contribute towards the team sales target.
Maintain and develop strong customer relationships, via telephone, email and face to face communication, to advise on the best solutions for their application and research needs.
Attend at life science exhibitions, seminars conferences to promote and market the company's range of products
Ensure excellent awareness of competitor activity, market trends and development.
Some travel nationally and internationally will be required, up to 2 days per week travelling across the territory (TBC) once trained and competent in the role.
Life science degree.
Background in Neuroscience or Microscopy would be an advantage.
Experience in a previous customer facing role (retail or telesales) would be beneficial.
