Financial Planning administrator
Reward Recruitment are currently partnered with a highly prestigious wealth management firm. Who are looking to expand their support team by taking on a new Financial planning administrator.
Job role and responsibilities
Responding to client and provider queries.
Initial setup and ongoing maintenance of client records on our back office system.
Chasing through Letters of Authority and liaising with providers to have this actioned in a timely manner.
Requesting and collating up to date client plan information as required for client meetings and regular portfolio reviews.
Opening and distribution of all post and sending post at the end of the day.
Constant client contact keeping individual up to date with progress on relevant new business matters and chasing providers to ensure business is processed in a timely manner.
Recorded and informing others of changes of personal information for clients.
Prepare all first meeting packs for relevant planner.
Answering and fielding incoming calls.
Other ad-hoc tasks as requested by line manager.
Booking appointments with clients and providers and sending out booking confirmation to all parties via email.
Industry qualification would be advantageous but are non-essential.
Experience of working with provider's platforms is advantageous, however, not essential.
Basic knowledge on a wide range of financial planning products, including bonds (on and offshore), pensions, ISAs, OEICs etc.
Good level of knowledge on all Microsoft Office programs.
Organized with a good attention to detail.
Well-presented and articulate with a good telephone manner.
Educated to a good standard, with a minimum of 5 GCSE's at grade C and above (English and Mathematics are essential).
