During 2017 The Royal British Legion's HR Department has undergone an exciting transformation. The HR and Organisational Development provision will support key stakeholders in achieving optimum productivity and performance of all of our employees including our valuable volunteers. This will enable HR to offer the highest levels of service to our staff in supporting our beneficiaries, in our role as the UK's national custodian of remembrance.

This is a fantastic time for you to join us and bring with you, your valued experience to supporting the Royal British Legion deliver their purpose to our Armed Forces Community. Our 5 year organisational strategy culminating in our centenary year in 2021 is driven by our recently launched new organisational values. This role provides a real opportunity to support and shape our culture working alongside our leaders and teams to develop both themselves and their functions.

Working with the Head of Organisational Development & Learning and your business areas you will facilitate, support and drive a development culture. You will achieve this through building strong and collaborative relationships throughout the organisation and by providing guidance, coaching opportunities and interventions that strengthen our organisational and people capabilities in order to deliver our purposed mission, purpose, values and strategic aims.

You will need to be a passionate, creative practitioner with experience in building successful relationships with a wide group of stakeholders. You will also need to demonstrate coaching at all levels, working on large projects, the ability to effectively influencing outcomes and a proven track record in Organisational development including designing, leading and delivering innovative, engaging and effective interventions.

To be considered for this role it is essential you possess a formal L&D, OD or Leadership / Management development qualification. The role is based in London with occasional national travel required.
