Calling all Financial Advisors fed up working in a pressure cooker and silly targets and kpis as well as late nights and weekends!

We are currently recruiting for an experienced and accredited Financial Advisor for an award winning Financial Consultancy firm based in lovely offices with a great team in Milton Keynes...and expanding rapidly!

You will inherit a portfolio of existing clients to provide on going exceptional care and service whilst developing further new clients.

This role is due to expansion in a company that prides itself on customer care and advising well - they have never received any negative comments or complaints in all of their many trading years.

They do not work to kpis/ targets - it's all about the outcome and great client care leads to great sales outcome as far as they are concerned - and it clearly works as they are expanding rapidly and continuously due to recommendation.

You must be prepared to update your skills where required to continue advising and this will be funded by the company.

Duties and Attributes of the Financial Advisor

- you must have worked as a qualified FA for a min of 5 year plus

- you must have excellent presentation skills both on a personal presentation level and in your communication abilities (verbal and written communication)

- you must be a team player - it is not about the individual it is about the team

- this company rewards on company efforts not individuals and it rewards well!

- you must have a passion for continually providing on going great customer care

- you must have great investigative and attention to detail to ensure you get the facts and advise and report clearly on them

- you will be responsible for arranging and hosting client meetings to be held in the office

- you will be conducting in-depth reviews of the financial circumstances of the client along with ascertaining their current and future aims

- you will be able to analyse the information ascertained and prepare the plans best suited to the clients needs - you will be competent and carrying out risk analysis

- you will be constantly researching, reviewing and updating the market place to keep updated and in turn be able to update your clients accordingly

- self development should take place via the attendance of relevant FA seminars, market research etc

- you will be looking to develop your portfolio by attending networking events and performing business development activities

- you will be able to confidently advise clients to make informed decisions

- you will keep in regular contact with your clients with the support of the para planners to ensure a relationship is really forged and they are kept up to date in relation to their changing needs and circumstances

- you will be responsible for checking the financial reports produced by the para planners for the clients prior to presentation

- you will be a brand advocate and team player at all times promoting all the service offerings of the company to ensure your client is aware of all and all needs met where required in a one stop solution

- client care and relationship buidling must be in your DNA

- it is all about exceeding clients expectations in the service you offer

Location of Work : You will be required to work from the office to ensure teamwork and the para planners that support you will be able to really work with you and support you effectively and efficiently

Hours of Work : Mon to Fri 830am - 530pm This is a work/life balance company!


31 days holidays (this is including bank holidays) Additionally, the company closes over Christmas and New Year!

Qualified Expenses

Salary: circa GBP55-75,000 plus bonus related payments. This will be dependent on the individual's skills and experience as a Financial Advisor and what you can bring to the company It will be market competitive most certainly.

Bonus: based on company profits and team performance so very much a company that bases its foundations on team hence it has a great team retention and client retention and referral.

Education: a proven accredited FA is essential with a stable work history as a professional Financial Advisor and someone that is happy to continue educating themselves to keep abreast of FA rules and regulations
