Legacy Manager Contract
In this key role you will lead and manage a team to deliver legacy marketing activity and you will also need to have exceptional legacy administration experience. This is a 6 month contract.
The CompanyWelfare charity who are looking to expand the services they offer.
Lead on the planning and delivery of the warm acquisition marketing strategies maximising the conversion of existing supporter database to legacy giving channels include mailings, email and social.
Manage and deliver the legacy supporter journey strategy and all mass marketing communications that legacy supporters will receive.
Lead the marketing approach to promote our national legacy events programme including cold and warm acquisition activity.
Maximise the income left to the charity as gift in wills and contribute to the setting of the legacy income target.
Liaise with executors of legacies left to the charity to ensure payment and relevant paperwork
Create case files for all new notifications received direct or via legacy notification services and make contact with executors as appropriate.
Identify potentially contentious issues and make recommendations to the Group Manager Individual Giving for resolution. Instruct solicitors when this is the only recourse available.
Review open files on a regular basis and check they are up to date
Proven Legacy Marketing experience
Proven experience of legacy administration in a charity environment
Knowledge of the law and taxation relating to wills
Ability to manage relationships effectively
Ability to motivate others
Ability to work to deadlines and plan accordingly
Good budgeting skills
