The Opportunity
Unique role for a technical software sales professional to grow and run the European operations of an Asia Pacific based financial reporting software business.
The business has established a leading position as a provider of world class, web based, accounts production software in its home market of Australia and is expanding into the UK with FRS 101, FRS 102 and IFRS solutions for medium to large businesses.
Extensive research and market testing has established that the group has the potential to quickly become the accounts production software of choice among medium and large businesses and they now need the right leader to help us realise that opportunity.

Responsibilities
  • Growing the business in the UK through the sales of new and renewal licences
  • Creating and managing a pipeline of future opportunities
  • Build relationships (and where appropriate lobby) with relevant groups including, but not limited to, ICAEW Financial Reporting Faculty, Financial Reporting Council and the IFRS Foundation
  • Promote the brand and products via:
  • Meeting with key influencers, stakeholders, auditors and others in the financial reporting field
  • Sponsorship of and attendance at various financial reporting events and/or training sessions held various professional bodies
  • Conducting, hosting or participating in technical forums or discussions related to IFRS, Financial Reporting and the like and from which the group may benefit
  • Identify new marketing, advertising, sponsorship and promotional opportunities
  • Recruit and/or develop and oversee UK technical and client support operations

  • Likely to be from financial reporting background and a chartered accountant
