Accountant (Degree Qualified)
My client is a company with a current turnover of GBP4 million. They provide software to a fast expanding marketplace and is experiencing twenty per cent growth per year. Reporting directly to the CFO, they now have an excellent opportunity for someone in the early stages of their accountancy career to learn and develop further.
Key aspects of the role include month end general ledger reconciliations and supporting the CFO with reporting including sales and VAT reporting and calculation of commissions and royalties. You will also monitor and maintain cashflow, having a part to play in debtor collection processes by resolving client queries and issues, overseeing sales invoicing processes and completing supplier payment runs.
Annually, you will support the budgeting process, be involved in preparing for the audit and perform the balance sheet reconciliations. You will also have the opportunity to improve processes.
Ideally, you will have a degree in accounting or business coupled with strong Excel skills and you will already have started your accountancy career in industry or practice. You will now be looking to advance your experience and knowledge in a business where you can grow further.
