Accounts Assistant/Bookkeeper with Xero Experience
Based in Ridgmont, Bedfordshire
Salary up to GBP25,000 depending on experience

My client has been in the haulage business for over 40 years and is now looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant/Bookkeeper with experience and knowledge of Xero software.

You MUST have used and be confident in the use of Xero accounting software. Although this role requires someone with the ability to do all bookkeeping duties, cash flow forecasting, purchase ledger, sales ledger, management reporting, VAT returns, there is a considerable amount of Credit Control work involved.
We require someone who has fantastic rapport building skills, who is confident on the phone and has the ability to communicate at all levels.
You should be IT savvy, as my client runs a paperless office and runs a cloud based business.

You will be outgoing, flexible, and diligent. A team player is essential as is the ability to and help out as and when required.

The ideal person may be someone who is doing a similar role at the moment in an SME, or a fully qualified accountant who now wants a less senior role and is happy to do the above work and more of the bookkeeping duties.
