Location: Angel, London
Contract type: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: GBP24,098 - GBP32,603 dependant on experience

About the Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised and focused candidate with experience in individual giving or supporter care to take the next step in their career. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to take ownership of the individual giving income stream, developing new approaches to our client's donor communications and supporter care, as well as line management of the Fundraising Assistant. This role is a key position within the fundraising team and is vital for raising important unrestricted income.
The right candidate will enjoy working independently and be confident in writing and developing creative donor-facing content, and also in analysing and manipulating data. They'll be supported by the Head of Fundraising, CEO, Communications Manager, and wider team, and will have opportunities for both internal and external training, as well as the potential for travel to see their projects in Africa and develop appeal content from scratch.
The successful candidate will have previous experience of compelling copy and content for appeals and marketing materials including website, leaflets, newsletters and appeals.
You will have excellent IT skills in Word, Power point and Excel along with experience of using Raisers Edge or another CRM database
You will possess excellent communication skills with strong written and spoken English.
You will also have previous experience manipulating, interpreting and analysing quantitative data, and developing efficient processes and systems along with a clear understanding of the donor journey, donor development and maximising life time value.
Understanding of data protection and Gift Aid rules and regulations is essential to this role.
You will have excellent attention to detail, organisational and time management skills and competence with Microsoft Office Software.
