We are currently partnering with a globally recognised business which is looking for a Japanese Speaking Assistant Tax Advisor to join their experienced team in London. The business is a global leader in tax, assurance and advisory services and it is one of the largest professional services firms in the world. The client employs more than 200,000 employees and prides itself with creating a culture that helps their employees perform and grow.

The role will offer the candidate excellent scope to be an integral part of the client's Advisory Team with a focus on making the business the number one trusted advisor to their clients and will focus on providing high quality, consistent service to company's clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Committed to the productive and outstanding delivery of tax services to the client;
• Build and preserve tax relationships with clients and provide high levels of client service;
• Build accords both within the firm and externally with clients, analysing opportunities and handling assumptions;
• Commit to winning new work by proactively overseeing current clients and contribute to acquiring new clients;
• Manage the successful transmission of tax projects, ensuring professional excellence and a business driven approach;
• Responsible for day-to-day client liaison;
• Provide full tax services to a client portfolio.

Person Specification

• Ideally, the candidate will be educated at a Degree level;
• Native Japanese language skills are essential;
• The candidate must have experience of working in a Mobility role and in a client focused role;
• The candidate must be computer literate with a good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word;
• Must have a degree of adaptability to meet client/division needs and time limits;
• Outgoing with good relationship skills and the ability to maintain great working relationships;
• Excellent communication skills - written and spoken;
• Diplomacy skills, able to sustain opinion and handle challenges;
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task;
• Attention to detail with a commitment to high quality and accuracy;
• Ambitious - willing to be accountable for their decisions
