Finance Systems Accountant
My Client is a large and recognisable FTSE 250 organisation based in the Northampton area.
As they transfer from one system to another they are seeking an experienced implementation specialist who has a financial background to oversee the process, getting involved with the configuration, testing and implementation of the new system and the accurate migration of the historical information from the previous system.
This role is being recruited on a fixed term contract basis provisionally set at 6 months with the option to extend to 12 months.
Duties within the position will include:
?? System testing to include writing test scripts, performing tests and working with the test team, performing reconciliation and validation checks
?? Change management - working with the change management team, understanding all areas of the business that will be effected by change
?? Legacy system and data migration - gaining an understanding of the current system and processes and ensuring decisions are made appropriately and all change impacts are understood.
?? Reconciling of data migrated from the legacy system to the future package.
To be suitable for this position you will have had senior level involvement in the implementation of ERP package(s) previously ideally within a large and complex organisation where multiple areas of the business are affected by change.
Ideally you will be a Qualified Accountant or be able to show considerable practical experience both within systems implementations and financial positions.
