I have got an exciting opportunity for an experienced Contracts Manager to work for a fantastic organisation. This is a Maternity Contract until roughly March 2018. However they are unable to confirm this for 100%.

This is a Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm role paying between GBP17.07 per hour - GBP22.27 per hour depending on experience.

The Contracts Manager will actively manage and lead the negotiation and management of a portfolio of contracts with providers in line with the client's requirements. Ensuring that key contract management processes are undertaken to a high standard and within required timeframes. The post holder will lead the portfolio of medium to large scale contracts under the direction of the Head of Contracts, including ensuring appropriate contract documentation is in place, that regular performance management and reporting is undertaken to required timescales and that effective and productive relationships are developed with providers

Duties

• Lead a portfolio of medium to large scale contracts to deliver the day-to-day contract management and ensure that agreements are in place
• Implementing innovative approaches to contracting and QIPP to secure improvements in quality, performance and efficiency.
• Support, where required, the Senior Contract Manager and other Contract Managers across a wide range of internal/external meetings and working groups.
• Maintain close links and communication with relevant Provider representatives to ensure robust performance monitoring of the contract is undertaken and recorded in line with appropriate regulations and frameworks.
• Production of regular contract performance reports highlighting areas of risk and concern, including outcomes data, to enable the client to determine appropriateness and quality of service provision and value for money.
• Keep knowledge up-to-date in all matters relating to national and the client's policies.
• Experience with community providers

Requirements

• Demonstrates excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently to deadlines
• Flexibility to travel to meetings and other locations in order to fulfil the requirements of the post.
• Experience within a similar position is required
• Able to demonstrate being able to work in a team as well as independently
• Experience with community providers would be particularly helpful as this would be the biggest element of the portfolio to cover
• Excellent communicational skills with all levels of seniority. Both written and Verbal.
