A great opportunity for a Biomedical Scientist to move into technical sales! Full sales and product training is provided.
The role is 80% field-based travelling to customer sites across the region, with around one day per week working from home, booking appointments etc.

PRODUCTS: Haematology, Microbiology, Point of Care testing and Biochemistry analysers and systems.
CLIENTS: NHS and private clinical laboratories

This role involves managing the complete sales process and all accounts on the territory. Full support will available through the relevant Product Manager, Product Specialists and Customer Support department. It is expected that you will co-ordinate these resources in order to meet the sales objectives for your territory.

Main Duties:
Ensure that sales objectives and targets are met, including targets on selling individual instrumentation in this territory.
Maintain and update visit analysis files/records, and report this back to the Sales Manager on a monthly basis.
Maintain up to date records for all key prospects and accounts that you are targeting as business development opportunities.
To visit the top twenty customers on your area (by annual revenue spend) at least once per quarter. To report on any issues and ensure that the customer's needs are met in order to ensure safety of the business.
Work on tenders in your regions, ensuring that all tenders for your area are submitted by the correct date.
Ensure that customer records are kept up to date at all times and call reports are always written on the same day as the visit.
Attend all meetings as required by the company, maintaining a highly professional manner and appearance throughout.
Attendance at industry networking events, exhibitions, conferences and seminars when required.

- BSc Biomedical Science or equivalent with post-degree experience working in a clinical laboratory
- Biomedical or Clinical Scientists with a background in Haematology/Microbiology/Biochemistry/Immunology with the drive and motivation to enter the industry will be strongly considered
- Commercial awareness and drive/motivation to succeed in a scientific diagnostics sales role
