We are currently recruiting for a prestigious financial services broker, who due to expansion require a sales manager to join their team.

Role Purpose:

The role will be responsible for the delivery of personal sales goals as well as those of their teams. They have daily responsibility for their direct reports to ensure effective, compliant delivery of individual and team sales goals.

The responsibilities will include:

Business development strategy:

Understanding, maintaining and role modelling the companies Vision, Mission & Values within their team;

Promotion of their locations brand (including Wealth Management) with customers and lenders, acting as custodian of the customer experience in line with the brand values;

Identification and sharing of potential efficiencies within the sales process. Adherence to and management in of agreed process changes;

Alignment to and communication of business strategy to their team.

Delivery of sales plan:

Understanding to Company and location annual business plan;

Analysis of individuals MI/KPI and on-going performance management of team to achieve individual and team goals;

Forecasting of sales performance over 1 week & 1 month timeframes;

Delivery of allocated KPI responsibility and reporting on progress;

Setting and reviewing personal and teams individual goals;

Managing business risks across the team and maintaining compliance to the agreed company standards, including completion of call observations and file reviews.

Resource planning:

Understanding the plan and liaising with Senior managers to identify future requirements;

Identification of succession planning requirements of the team, including identification of at risk staff, potential promotions and sourcing of external candidates;

Analysis and management of Broker remuneration;

Supporting the delivery of post on boarding training of new staff to agreed company standards.

People Management and Organisational Health

Coaching & development of direct reports including implementing performance improvement plans as required;

Implementation of people management processes across their team including performance management processes, 1:1s, appraisals, and team huddles/meetings.

Analysis of MI to identify training needs and delivery of coaching and training to team members, including the induction of new recruits;

Support in the design and delivery of quarterly location team meetings; Support implementation of HR processes and management of absence policy for their team;

Proactively communicate business risks, innovations and ideas
