The role

The group is committed to delivering high quality services to young people in our care and we are looking for high quality Financial Accountant to join our highly commercial team in partnering the business.

As a key member of the Group finance team, reporting into the Group Financial Controller you will be responsible for the preparation of statutory accounts, have extensive involvement with the Group audit, and support the monthly group reporting and consolidation process. The role will also support the completion of corporation tax computations so an understanding of tax principles is a must.

Who are we looking for?

You will be an ACA/ACCA Qualified Accountant with strong Audit experience who is actively seeking to progress their career in an exciting and fast-growing commercial organisation. This role would be an ideal opportunity for someone looking to make their first move out of practice into industry and actively contribute to long-term planning and decision making. With a pro-active approach, you will be someone capable of building long-term stakeholder relationships at a variety of levels nationally. If you have experience of working with equity backed clients that would be an advantage.
