Healthcare Product Specialists

Locations - North West/Cheshire/Merseyside
Excellent Salary package, with Bonus and Company Car

We are looking for two experienced Product Specialists to Join a highly successful and well-regarded client of ours based across the Merseyside and Cheshire location, you will be focused on building and maintaining strong professional relationships across the Healthcare and Medical sector across the UK. The Product Specialist is a business leader who represents the integrity of the company by providing approved, product information and resources to key decision makers and stakeholders within the Healthcare sector.

The Product Specialist is accountable for product groups mainly across Oncology and Haematology, which will require negotiating and achieving budgeted gross margin for the product group and target sales of promoted products. To ensure that operational marketing plans (promotional plans, materials, activities, sales briefing and training) and that the product supply chain is accurately maintained.
Requirement: Own Car, the role will require to be out in the field 50% of the time

Key Responsibilities
•To provide key account management support to new and existing accounts
•Maintain up to date knowledge and technical expertise, competitor developments and activity and advise the business on appropriate marketing strategies and actions to maintain competitive advantage by keeping up to date with the latest clinical practices and developments in the external market
•To liaise with the Sales Team in planning and execution of symposia, meetings and exhibitions.
•To handle any customer comments/complaints professionally at all times and to provide clinical support and expertise (including troubleshooting) to the business.
•Implement approved marketing plans to time, budget and quality through the appropriate publishers, agencies and internal resources.
•To ensure manufacturing and QC are appraised of UK customer complaints at the earliest possible time.
•To assist in sales/clinical training on all product related issues.
To update and maintain the relevant product section of all company reporting systems (Medium Term Strategy, Global Price Reference, quarterly forecasts and annual budget) to ensure accurate planning and communication.
•You must be able to provide and have approved strategic marketing plans for similar product group delivering medium term strategy (MTS) targets; identifying options and new business opportunities and investments.
•To identify, investigate and undertake product development programmes, to ensure the continual improvement of products and services in line with business stream and company strategic plans.
•To Develop and implement business plans and strategies for both organisation and competitor key accounts.
•provide leadership of the marketing and selling strategy to sales management and sales force and ensure alignment of sales activity with marketing and operational plans.
•To compile and implement marketing strategies and campaigns via the sales force to ensure that sales revenue/targets are delivered.

We are looking for experienced Product Specialist who can bring experience/Knowledge working within the Healthcare Sector, selling new range of Products & Medical Devices to clients within the Healthcare sector.
We Would also consider individuals who has studied a scientific degree within; BioMedical Science, Sports Science, and has a proven track record working within Sales or Marketing role.

Key skills
Excellent communications skills is key for this role who can demonstrate that they are able to communicate clearly and concisely with personnel at all levels both internally and externally.
Effective Project Management - must be able to plan, delegate and ensure each Project is delivered within the given deadline. Must be a complete finisher. Evidence of research based projects would be advantageous.
Problem solving - needs to be able to interpret the requirements of different customers and deliver training/customer support accordingly.
Self-directed and self-motivated - needs to plan and organise self in order to meet objectives of role. Must be able to work on own initiative and establish own methods of supporting self and others.
Excellent presentation and training skills - needs to be able to train and teach a variety of health care professionals with differing learning styles on Medical Device products
