Digital and Content Manager International Development
Charity Talent are recruiting for an urgent Digital and Content Manager to work for an International Development Charity to start asap. This is a permanent job and they are based in Central London. As die Digital and Content Manager you will focus on the the strategic direction and hands on oversite of the their UK digital channels, from creating and scheduling daily social media content, to defining, testing and tweaking our ongoing digital strategy.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of web marketing along with solid project management skills and a working knowledge of Content Management Systems (CMS).
In addition, this role will play a key role in the development of a their Summit in 2018 where Heads of State, business leaders and the public will make a commitment to end a deadliest disease. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute towards the ongoing success of a highly innovative, fast-paced communications team, with scope to lead on various projects.
You will develop a new digital strategy for the organisation and once rolled out, test and refine it. Create content and communications materials including design and some copy writing of briefings, reports, news updates, emails, digital content, presentations and other publications for a variety of audiences including policymakers, corporate partners, celebrity ambassadors and individual supporters.
Provide communications support for a variety of external events and campaigns (in parliament, with corporate partners, with press or with celebrity ambassadors). Maintain our presence on social media including day-to-day community management of social media channels, sourcing content to use on social media and creating images to inspire and engage our fans and followers.
Manage an ongoing relationship with our external web development team, maintaining and developing our website (Drupal CMS) including uploading content, checking functionality and helping to troubleshoot technical issues. You will also be responsible for In-house design and creative development work for presentations, briefings, banners, posters and other materials. Brief, liaise with and manage a variety of external suppliers including web agency, printers, designers, photographers, videographers and other creative agencies. Managing all digital and social media presence.
You will be an experience Digital Marketing or Content Manager
Digital campaigns management
Proven track record of content marketing across channels and formats
Advanced knowledge of Content Management Systems (CMS)
Familiarity with usability testing and conversion rate optimisation
Familiarity with Google Analytics or similar tools
Advanced knowledge of digital and social media tracking tools
