Founded in 1990, The Wedding Shop is the UK and Ireland's leading and longest established independent wedding list provider. We operate from multiple locations with showrooms on the Fulham Road Chelsea, Selfridges London, Edinburgh and Dublin as well as online. Our Head Office is based in the heart of Barnes, South West London. We are a family owned business with a current head count of around sixty-five employees. The business is experiencing a very exciting period of rapid growth, with its wedding list registry increasing by 300% in the last year.

The Role

We are looking to recruit a full time Wedding List Advisor to join our new online team based at our head office in Barnes, South West London.

The responsibilities of the role are as follows:

• First point of contact for online registrations. Offering a personal service over the phone and with e-mail using the company tone of voice.

• Managing your own client base and proactively following up and converting new business in line with our company values and principles attached. Using your expert product knowledge to guide and advise clients through our 300+ brand offering to help them create the perfect wedding list. Staying in touch with clients throughout their wedding to be on hand with advice and guidance at all stages.

• Assisting clients via our online chat function with any questions and queries they may have.

The Candidate

The successful candidate will ideally have past experience working with the general public and a passion for homewares or interiors would be advantageous. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, with a positive "can do" attitude and excellent communication skills. They must be articulate with the confidence to offer a luxury service, building up relationships with clients. They will be able to communicate excellently over phone and email. Organisation and self-motivation is key. Full product and brand training will be provided.

Hours of operation: Full time:

5 days a week, Mon-Sat, 9.00am-5.30pm.

Salary: GBP20-GBP22K dependant on experience plus commission and a very generous performace bonus(annually).

Holiday: Twenty three days paid holiday per year
