Full Time Science Teacher Required for a large secondary Academy in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, for September 2017

- Teaching Science, including Biology, Chemistry and Physics to KS3 and KS4 up to GCSE level
- Working full time with full responsibilities included

An Academy in the heart of Peterborough are seeking a Teacher of Science to teach KS3 and KS4 up to GCSE level. The role is on a full time basis for 1 academic year starting in September 2017, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

The Academy has on role up to 600 students aged 11 to 16, and is part of a growing federation of academies and schools. The Academy apply their values and ethos to all aspects of teaching and learning, striving to provide exemplary education and encouraging the maximum potential of each child. They encourage their students to develop curiosity, understanding and empathy in order to promote intercultural understanding. They do this by promoting equality, respect and empathy and they celebrate diversity in the hopes that the community will develop a strengthened pride in the school.

As the ideal candidate you will:
- Specialise in Science
- Be able to deliver to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, up to and including GCSE
- Have a strong dedication to promoting the best in each student
- Aim to develop a strong rapport with students and colleagues
- Have strong behaviour management skills, to maintain behaviour within the class

To apply for this role, the applicant must have a thorough knowledge of all Science subjects, in line with the UK core curriculum, either having Science as a specialism or extensive experience.
