THE COMPANY

This is an opportunity to join one of the world's leading brands within the entertainment industry as a Data Scientist. You will be joining a well-established team carrying out predictive analytics, customer segmentation & applying machine learning algorithms aiding in driving sales and increasing profit for the business.

THE ROLE

You will:

  • Carry out extensive behavioural modelling using R in order to discover key insights into user activity.
  • Liaise closely with the Data Engineering & Business Intelligence teams.
  • Explore large data sets of multi-channel data - online, in-store vendors.
  • Identify further opportunities for the business & deliver recommendations to stakeholders.



SKILLS AND EXPERTISE

You will be:

  • An expert user of R & SQL and have exposure to distributed systems.
  • Familiar with the digital entertainment industry.
  • Educated to MSc or ideally Ph.D. level in a quantitative subject such as Mathematics, Statistics or Sciences.
  • Experienced in building statistical models and algorithmic development.



SALARY DETAILS

GBP40,000 - GBP50,000 + Benefits
