Account Manager (Digital Agency) - Based in Bury

Salary up to GBP32,000 dependent on experience, flexi-time and excellent benefits

A multi-award-winning E-Commerce Agency are looking to recruit a commercially savvy Account Manager to support both client and agency development.


  • You will ideally have worked for a Digital Agency or Magento Agency where you have experience of supporting both clients and agency development
  • Experience of managing key accounts and SME accounts and strong negotiations skills
  • Experience of presenting to clients, face to face and confident in developing accounts existing accounts with some new business (upselling)
  • A positive attitude and high levels of personal motivation
  • Experience working with Magento or similar E-Commerce platforms
  • High level of skill with MS Office products
  • High standard of written language and mathematical proficiency
  • Magento solutions partner - training will be provided
  • Holder of a UK licence ideally

Role Overview

  • You will act as the link between the client and the internal delivery team, retaining and growing existing business.
  • You will be responsible for the management of client relationships, as well as ensuring all tasks under your charge are delivered to the highest quality.
  • You will need to be commercially savvy with an ability to deal with deals up to GBP100,000
  • Working alongside another Account Manager, Project Manager, Developers, Designers
  • Ability to produce detailed meeting minutes/contact reports
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills
  • Meeting management skills
  • Negotiate business renewals and contract requirements
  • Identify clients' key decision makers and influencers to build solid relationships and ensure the client's' business needs are being catered for at all levels
  • Involvement in new business pitches and processes to aid the agency in growing our client portfolio
  • Deliver training to clients on chosen product areas if required
  • Monitor and report on commercial viability of clients' projects and campaigns
