CGBP95,000 + Car + Bonus + Benefits
Location: Loughborough, Leicestershire

The Company:
Our client, a market leading UK organisation is looking for a striving HR Director with a proven track record to head their HR team within Leicester.

The Opportunity:
To develop, deliver and execute all aspects of the People strategy in line with business strategy and 3 year plan covering all aspects of the employee lifecycle i.e. attraction and retention of talent, performance management, employee engagement and satisfaction, development, succession and compensation and benefits.

Responsibilities within this role include:

• Represent HR at board level and develop, drive and embed the organisations people, strategy and plan.
• Deliver HR plan to annual budget.
• Ensure robust people plans are in place across the business aligned to divisional strategic plans.
• Work alongside peers to continuously improve capabilities and quality of the SMT
• Work closely with the MD to develop capabilities and performance of board members
• Day to day leadership and management of the HR team including management, mentoring, motivating, performance management and development of all team members.
• Development of HR MI suite for board & SMT use.
• Ensure framework of HR policies and practices are in place and in line with best practice / legal requirements.
• Management of employee communication & notices.
• To ensure the professional standards and values of the Company are reflected consistently in all people interventions and processes
• To provide tools and processes to drive effective development and career paths for employees
• Ensure effective recruitment, selection and induction processes are in place to secure top talent to drive the business forward.
• Manage talent and succession planning processes and integration.
• Manage all development investment and subsequent ROI evaluation.
• Act as escalation point for major ER / people related issues.
• Manage employee benefit contracts ensuring effective and collaborative links with external providers (pension, private medical, childcare vouchers etc).
• Development and implementation of company bonus schemes with Finance
• Linking reward mechanisms to high performance
• Ensure continuous focus on measurement and improvement of employee satisfaction
• Serve as the board lead for all compliance issues (excluding Health & Safety) and act as the group contact for compliance taking responsibility for ensuring all compliance matters and work is undertaken and completed
• Production of monthly HR reports.

About you - Skills/Experience/Qualifications:

• MCIPD qualified HR background in a fast paced environment
• Results orientated
• Previous experience of working at HRD / board level
• Proven track record of adopting a commercial and practical approach to the HR agenda
• Experience of working in multi sited business with a mix of blue and white collar employees
• Demonstrable HR performance within a fast moving environment, either B2B or B2C
• Self-motivated, with a strong work ethic, willing to get personally involved
• Natural leader, coach and mentor
• A comprehensive understanding of UK employment law framework
• Able to present and influence confidently
• Resilient and objective when facing setbacks
• Computer literate.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to listen effectively, respond appropriately, and maintain mutual comfort level while relating to a diverse workforce
