I am currently recruiting for a Registered Manager for a well established Registered Children and Young People's Home in Dewsbury. The EBD home can house 4 service users but is currently running with only 1 so will need a strong manager who can develop business. My client provides tailored and therapeutic residential care to vulnerable children and young people aged 5-18 years

This home in Dewsbury is dedicated to providing opportunities for children and young people who have suffered under circumstances out of their control. As manager of this children's home, you will be leading a team of dedicated professionals who will endeavour to improve the lives of those in your care in whatever way the residents need

My client is seeking a reliable and committed individual who has at least 5 years experience in residential childcare and 2 years minimum management experience. The candidate must have Level 5 diploma in leadership for Health and Social Care services (children and young people's residential management) qualification OR have the Registered Managers award with a relevant NVQ level 3, along with having a full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle

The role will involve:

- Budgets, finance and business development
- Ensuring the highest standard of care is delivered to all residents
- Staff management, including arranging your own rota which may include evening, weekend or sleep-in duties
- Develop and execute business development to meet the needs of the children and young people in your care
- Ensure the care service is cooperating with childcare regulations

This is a permanent role, 37.5 hours per week, with a negotiable salary and great benefits, including:
