Business Development Manager - North West England

The primary function of this role is to increase the company's mortgage production by improving the company's profile in the market place and promoting its products and services to new introducers as well as managing existing introducer relationships. Introducers can be defined as (but not limited to), Mortgage Brokers, IFA's, Mortgage Packagers, Mortgage Networks.

Responsibilities:

Develops business growth strategy in liaison with Sales Director to increase business volume and raise company profile.
Builds new business contacts whist promoting the company product range and service philosophy.
Actively seek, approach and visit potential introducers with the aim of winning the business.
Manage packager relationships within the region.
Using initiative and business acumen skills to look at alternative ways of selling the company to those potential introducers who already have an allegiance to competitors, with the aim of winning the business.
With the agreement of the Sales Director, negotiate commission structures with introducers.
Maintain and develop introducer accounts as well as using networking skills to develop further business opportunities.
Carry out review meetings with introducers in order to monitor business volumes and seek to improve.
Measures own performance against business volume targets, completion ratios and key performance indicators.
Represent the company at roadshows and events etc.
Maintain an excellent understanding of and encourage regulatory responsibly.

Candidate:

Autonomous: able to self-motivate and focus on goals and activities while working remotely.
Ability to seek, build and maintain relationships with all types of introducer and corporate contacts.
Strong communicator: comfortable at dealing with relationships over the phone and face to face.
Focused and target driven.
Understanding of mortgage market, general issues and challenges.

Package:

Salary up to GBP50k + GBP5k Car Allowance + Benefits + GBP60k+ OTE
