Business Development Manager - Bridging Finance - London

North London/West End

A well-established Bridging Finance company is looking to recruit a dynamic Business Development Manager to join our existing London team.

As a Business Development Manager you will be responsible for the following:

Proactively seeking new business opportunities by means of networking and referrals
Build relationships with key clients and professional sector contacts
Cold call as appropriate within your market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities
Present new products and services to clients and enhance existing relationships
Ensuring that the pipeline business is proactively managed
Representing the Company at trade shows, industry functions and relevant corporate events
Identify and pursue new target markets in the region
Work with the team to develop proposals that speaks to the client's needs, concerns and objectives
Identify opportunities for campaigns, services and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales
Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company's unique selling propositions and differentiators
Assess each case against the Company's lending criteria and work the deal through to successful completion
Provide weekly progress and activity reports and ensure data is accurate
Work with the rest of the team to ensure that prerequisites are fulfilled within a timely manner
Understand the company's goal and purpose so that will continual to enhance the company's performance

The Business Development Manager will be required to demonstrate the following:

BDM experience is not essential. This role will also suit a Mortgage Broker who can demonstrate a good track record within financial services.
Sales and Lending experience in a financial services environment
3-5 years of work experience within a Financial Services environment
Relevant Market experience
Highly skilled communicator with excellent presentation skills
Flexible with working hours
