Progressive City law firm seek HR Advisor on a 12 month FTC for their lively, down to earth team.

As HR Advisor you will work closely with the HR Team in providing a full range of generalist HR and Recruitment support to the Firm. Your primary role will be to assist the HR Manager with a wide range of HR matters to include Employee Relations, Performance Management, Training and Development, and Graduate Recruitment. The role will also consist of managing processes such as the administration of new joiners and leavers and key HR processes.

The main duties include the below as well as assisting with the Joiners and Leavers, Graduate Recruitment and Appraisals and Training:

*Support the HRMin providing guidance and advice to staff on matters of employment legislation, employee relations and Firm policies.
*To assist the HRM in managing HR issues including conduct, performance, grievance, attendance, sickness absence, flexible working, time off (sabbaticals, jury service etc).
*Supporting the HRMin employee relations issues; assisting in investigatory meetings, drafting correspondence, dealing with queries and attending meetings in a note taking capacity as and when required.
*Dealing with day to day employee related queries.
*Assisting the HRO with maternity/paternity and family leave queries.
*Carry out return to work interviews following sickness absence/maternity leave
*Liaising with the Firm's occupational health provider and escalating any issues to the HRM.
*Assist with the firm's annual salary and bonus review including collation of market data and benchmarking analysis
*Ensuring all policies and procedures are up to date on the intranet in line with current legislation.
*To keep up to date knowledge of Employment legislation.
