Commercial Administrator - Fantastic career opportunity

Milton Keynes, MK6 area

Salary GBP23,000 - GBP25,000 depending on experience plus an amazing benefits package.

Our client a multiple award winning construction company requires an individual to join their busy commercial team in their Milton Keynes office.

Purpose of the role

To support the Commercial Team / Quantity Surveyor in the control of costs, enabling the project team to effectively deliver within time and cost constraints. To make certain that all administration tasks and key Company-wide initiatives are delivered successfully with a focus on value, ensuring procedural compliance both internally and externally by means of 'The Company Way' in house systems created to strengthen and improve the working environment:

Main Responsibilites

Compile and submit Extra and Over Payment Timesheet

Collate daily labour allocation sheets on a weekly basis

Material & Plant Ordering

Docket Entry onto COINS GRN

Run Monthly Reports and review with Project Team

Maintain Plant Excel Database - update with hire and off hire, purchases, carriage, operated hours and repairs.

Review, amend and submit Weekly Plant Return Report

PAYE, CIS & Agency contracts emailed to Payroll with supporting documents

Maintain Training Matrix

Document control

Communicate with the Project Team on a weekly basis to proactively manage their travel and accommodation requirements

Miscellaneous administration tasks as required

Skills and Experience

  • Good level of education to GCSE A* to C.
  • Previous admin experience ideally within construction but not essential
  • A methodical and proactive attitude.
  • Good communication and time-management skills.
