We are looking for enthusiastic experienced Senior Social Workers who have a passion for excellence and the ability to share this passion with others.

As a large county Norfolk has 6 localities delivering services to children and families. Kings Lynn and West Norfolk, Breckland, South Norfolk, North Norfolk and Broadland, Gt Yarmouth and Norwich. Each locality in the area has a dedicated Head of Social Work based locally and is co-located with a strong early help service.
Our teams here are based in King's Lynn, which is full of maritime heritage and outstanding historic buildings. Combined with its bustling shopping centre, it is a great place to live and work.
Children's Services offices are based centrally with parking for staff, close to the A47 providing an easy commute across Norfolk, and the neighbouring counties of Lincolnshire, Cambridge and Suffolk. King's Lynn boasts beautiful countryside, a stunning coastline and easy access to the Norfolk Broads. There are good local bus and train services to London, neighbouring counties and Norwich.
To join our social work team it is essential that you have a Diploma/Degree in Social Work, CQSW, CSS or equivalent, and full HCPC registration. You will need to have at least 2 years post qualifying social work experience (which includes your Assisted and Supported Year in Employment) and the ability to travel. If you feel that you have excellent practice leadership skills, the experience and enthusiasm to promote best practice and keep staff motivated, then we are keen to hear from you.
