Sterility Assurance Specialist - Oxford or Thetford


My client is a global pharmaceutical manufacturing company who are looking to recruit an experienced Sterility Assurance and Environmental Monitoring Specialist where you will be the subject matter expert for providing all technical expertise and support to the sites for sterility assurance and environmental monitoring .

Duties and responsibilities include:

• Responsible for ensuring effective sterility assurance and environmental monitoring programmes are deployed in all UK compounding facilities, in compliance with current GMP and the companies global strategy.
• Standardization of sterility assurance practices and identification / implementation of new technology for microbiological testing and environmental control.
• Supporting and leading problem solving investigations for product and for UK sites process deviations or customer complaints investigation, non-conformance and quality incidents investigations.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to other functions/sites in problem solving with respect to Sterility Assurance.
• Providing technical support in interpretation of Microbial Identification, Environmental Monitoring data, trending of Environmental Monitoring and Microbiological data.
• Supporting the development of the quality documentation including local SOP's, approval of documents related with Sterility Assurance as Technical Approver.

This is a full time permanent job opportunity with a great salary between GBP30,000 - GBP35,000 per annum and benefits including 25 days holiday, Pension, Group Life Assurance, Income Protection and many more. This role can be based at either Oxford or Thetford. You must be able to travel to each site as and when required.
