About the role
You will maximise the income available to Clarion as you join the busy and dynamic team that collects rents and sets service charges. This administrative role will see you promoting Direct Debit as the preferred method for collecting rent, property-related debts and service charges while dealing with customer enquiries.
Fully aware of relevant BACS regulations, you will set up Direct Debit requests, review the unpaid and cancelled report and undertake the annual mass generation of Direct Debits. Alongside working with the welfare benefits team to ensure that changes to benefits are communicated, you will assist with the annual review of rent and service charges.
About the individual
* A confident team player who's organised and efficient, you will bring experience of dealing with the public face to face and by telephone and maintaining filing systems.
* Able to handle stressful situations, you will bring strong all-round written and face-to-face communication skills including negotiation.
* Your knowledge of Microsoft Office applications will be matched by a high level of numeracy and accurate data entry skills.
* Customer focused with a careful approach to confidential and sensitive information, you will have the flexibility to work in line with the needs of the business.
