If so, our Community Mental Health Team at Westhaven in Weymouth are looking for motivated, experienced, Level 1 & 2 Social Workers to work within our Assertive Outreach Team.
You should be experienced and have a good understanding of the Care Act legislation, Court of Protection and Mental Capacity Act Legislation, in order to ensure that good quality assessments and care is provided to those most vulnerable.
Good IT skills are essential, as accurate record keeping will play an important part in this role.

This position is based within Adult & Community Services.
You must have a degree in Social Work or equivalent, be registered with the HCPC and be able to fulfil the travel requirements of the post.
Dorset County Council requires all newly qualified Social Workers to undertake the assessed and supported year in employment (ASYE) and meet the expected standards during the ASYE period.
The ASYE arrangements should normally apply to the appointment of all newly qualified Social Workers who qualified after September 2012 unless they can demonstrate that they already fully meet the standards laid out in the professional capabilities framework (PCF).
