Project Development Manager.- London

Salary: GBP55 k to GBP60 k plus Bonuses

Purpose of Role:

A Senior Project Manager to manage a site development team of 5 people, through sourcing and validation, land sourcing, grid and gas applications, planning and legal through to planning approval.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities: ?
Obtaining planning consent, taking projects through pre-planning
Managing consultants and contractors
Discharging planning conditions
Managing gas and grid connections
Site design
Managing relationship with landowners
Managing the legal process for execution of lease with landowner
An Ideal Candidate Will Have/Be:

Must be experienced the areas above with the emphasis on land, legal and planning. Technical experienced not required.

Suitable candidate would normally have worked in wind, gas and solar development areas
A proven track record in obtaining planning consents and managing numerous projects simultaneously Management skills - leading contractors to deliver on time and in budget
Good communication skills - internal and client facing
Good knowledge and experience of planning for renewables/power plants
Commercial negotiations experience
Financial management experience- agreeing and managing budgets
Property law - experience in dealing with land leases Independence - expected to work with a degree of autonomy and self-motivation
Understanding of gas reciprocating engines sufficient to procure plant design
renewables and/or gas or other development: 3 years
Well organised with good time management, IT and administration skills
