??GBP24,000 basic salary (dependent on experience level).

We are a leading provider in recruitment specialising in placing both permanent and contract staff into the IT and Media sectors. As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant you will be working with current clients identify and developing new business opportunities within your sector. We are one of the leading IT, Media and Engineering Recruitment Consultancies in the UK. Our client base is filled with respected, blue-chip companies which sit alongside dynamic, high-energy startups; no two clients are the same.

We are currently seeking new graduates due to the speedy expansion of the firm, shown through the 27% growth year on year. This rapid expansion is exemplified through the success stories of the graduates, one of which was promoted to associate within their first few months at the firm. We have invested GBP500,000 into our training program to achieve our aim of exceeding the GBP18.2 million profit of the 2015/16 financial year.
The role of recruitment consultant will require an ability to build rapport quickly and have the drive to knock on many doors to find new business. Experience within a previous sales or telesales role is desirable along with a degree education. It will include a training program which allows you to find permanent and contract candidates for positions within the sector. The role will involve interviewing and meeting new candidates so that you can negotiate salaries and rates with candidates and clients. Contributing to the continual growth, development and improvement of the company.
The successful candidate will have a 2:1 or above, the mentality to thrive in a fast-paced environment, high skills in terms of communication and soft skills, money motivated candidates to reach and exceed their targets. Have strong B2B sales ability, ideally demonstrated within employment to UK market. Be financially astute. You will be tested on your mental arithmetic.
