Senior Supervising Social Worker - Well-Regarded IFA

With the recent influx of Foster Carer's based around the South East London area, my client, a nation-wide Independent Fostering Agency is looking for a Senior Supervising Social Worker to help them develop the area. This is a unique opportunity to help a IFA make a bigger impact on this area.

Caseloads are expected to be between 12-14, and will never exceed this amount. The IFA takes great pride in it's carers and strives to ensure that Social Workers can deliver the best quality of care to them.

Training is delivered by the Area Manager who will stay in regular contact with you throughout your initial introduction to the agency. They'll then leave you to work autonomously as you spend your time between the office and the home-based working aspect of your role.

Role:

  • Senior Supervising Social Worker
  • Developing Potential Foster Carer's within South East London
  • Helping to assess, train, develop and look after the PFC's and the children in care
  • Based in/around, or near the Croydon/Sutton/Lewisham area.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Social Worker
  • Knowledge of Fostering Regulations
  • Licence Holder & Car Driver
  • Be comfortable working in both the office and from home without supervision

Send your CV to Jack Fisher with a brief cover letter, or call for a confidential discussion about this role, and many others available.

Know someone who springs to mind? Send us their name and contact details (phone and email) . If your referral gets a role, you get GBP200 high-street vouchers!
