About the role

We currently run an Executive MBA (EMBA) programme which is validated by our partner Plymouth University. The programme leader will be responsible for the overall academic and operational leadership of the EMBA. This will include managing programme staffing, advising and mentoring Module Leaders and other colleagues and establish a sense of programme ownership amongst the team.

The role will require the Programme Leader to liaise directly with students and ensure student satisfaction achievement. There will also be a requirement to oversee quality adherence and report on the programme and use management information to inform the development of the programme. An update to the existing programme is currently being validated with Plymouth University and the role holder will also be required to manage the implementation of the new curriculum.

The key purposes of this role is to manage the Executive MBA programme and support student success. To be successful, you will need to be degree qualified, have experience in teaching and learning at a postgraduate level and possess some understanding and ideally experience in managing postgraduate or Executive education in a higher education setting. You will possess a proven track record in Higher Education and have a detailed knowledge and understanding of the challenges within the industry. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate the ability to think creatively, be solutions focused and have a proven track record of successfully delivery whilst being a true motivator of people and teams and leading beyond authority.
