We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Team Manager to support the Children and Families team in Wokingham. To be successful for this role, you are required to have a minimum of 2 years recent Social Work experience of working with Children and Families. The role:
Social Worker in a Locality team undertaking child protection enquiries, managing children subject to a child protection plan, child in need plan, children and families involved in care proceedings.

To apply, you\'ll need:

- A minimum of 2 years experience with children and families.
- Strong Child Protection experience, strong assessment skills- single, risk etc
- Experience within court and care proceedings
- Must be a car owner and driver with a clean full driving licence.
- It is essential to be able to work as part of a team and be able to work on own initiative
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Ability to work at a fast pace and under pressure
- Flexibility
- Relevant social work qualification, e.g. CQSW, CSS, DipSW, Nursing, OT qualification, NVQ 4 (Care), HNC (Social Care), or HNC Care Management
- You must be professionally registered with the HCPC, and eligible to work in the UK.
